How Twins work
Hold $50 of $TWINS and a Twin is born that copies your pump.fun trades. Keep $10 in your wallet to keep it alive. 50% of creator fees fund the living Twins.
01Birth
Buy $TWINS on pump.fun. As soon as your wallet holds $50 or more, your Twin is born. It gets its own wallet on Solana and a pixel face, minted to you as an NFT.
- One Twin per wallet, ever. If it dies, that wallet can’t spawn another.
- The NFT is soulbound: a Metaplex Core asset that is permanently frozen, so it stays with the wallet that earned it.
- The NFT mints once your Twin has lived for an hour. Your Twin starts copying straight away.
- Your Twin starts with 0 SOL. It is funded only by creator fees (see Fees).
02Copying
Your Twin watches your wallet. When you trade a pump.fun coin, it does the same a moment later, on its own. It doesn’t matter where you trade it: pump.fun, Axiom, GMGN, Photon or any other terminal, on the bonding curve or after the coin graduates to PumpSwap.
- Buy: the Twin spends 20% of its portfolio (min $1) on the same coin.
- Once per coin: it buys each coin one time. If you add more later, it doesn’t.
- Sell: it sells the same share you did. You sell 40% of your bag, it sells 40% of its bag.
- $TWINS trades are copied too, just like any other coin.
- Only pump.fun coins are copied. Swaps of other tokens are ignored.
You can’t steer it. It only follows.
03How much a Twin trades
The size of a Twin buy depends only on the Twin, not on you. It doesn’t matter how much you spend or how much SOL is in your wallet.
Example. You have 2 SOL and your Twin has 0.1 SOL. You buy a coin with 1 SOL. Your Twin first collects any fees waiting for it, then buys the same coin with 0.02 SOL (20% of 0.1). It would buy the same 0.02 SOL if you had spent 0.05 SOL or 50 SOL. pump.fun still takes its normal trading fee.
| If… | The Twin… |
|---|---|
| 0.05 SOL of fees was waiting | collects it first, so its portfolio is 0.15 SOL, and buys 0.03 SOL |
| it holds coins worth 0.2 SOL plus 0.1 SOL in cash | its portfolio is 0.3 SOL, so it buys 0.06 SOL |
| it has only $3 of SOL | 20% would be under $1, so it buys the $1 minimum |
| it has less than $1 of spare SOL | skips the trade |
| you buy the same coin again | doesn’t buy again. Once per coin. |
| you sell half your bag of that coin | sells half of its bag |
Because every buy is 20% of the whole portfolio, a Twin with no new fees holds about 5 coins before its SOL runs out. After that it skips new buys until you sell something or more fees arrive.
Network costs. A Twin pays its own Solana network and priority fee on each trade (a fraction of a cent) and about 0.002 SOL of rent for each coin it holds. The rent is refunded when it fully exits that coin. It always keeps a tiny SOL reserve for this.
04Safety rules
To stop anyone from using their Twin to buy their own coins and pull SOL out of it, a Twin skips a copy buy when:
- the coin was created by the Twin’s owner
- the coin is less than 5 minutes old
- the coin has less than 5 SOL of liquidity
- every copy buy is capped at 2% of the coin’s liquidity
- and all Twins together can put at most 1% of a coin’s liquidity into it per day, so nobody can farm many Twins into one coin
05Staying alive
Your Twin lives as long as you keep at least $10 of $TWINS in your wallet. You can take profit whenever you want, as long as you never sell (or send away) all of it.
- The check only happens when your balance goes down. A price drop on its own never kills a Twin.
- The $50 and $10 checks use the 10-minute median price of $TWINS, so a one-block pump can’t fake a Twin or save one.
- Your Twin page shows Safe to sell, which is exactly how much you can sell and still keep it.
- Moving tokens to another wallet counts as selling.
06Death
If a sell or transfer leaves you with less than $10 of $TWINS, your Twin dies.
- Everything it holds is sold for SOL.
- That SOL goes back into the pool and is shared with every Twin still alive. The dead feed the living.
- The NFT burns and the Twin moves to the Graveyard.
07Fees
Every $TWINS trade on pump.fun pays a creator fee, on the bonding curve and after graduation to PumpSwap. The engine claims 100% of it from the creator wallet every few minutes and splits it:
Example: 1.00 SOL of fees with 10 live Twins gives 0.05 SOL to each Twin and 0.50 SOL to the treasury.
A Twin’s share waits in the creator wallet until it is sent, in batches, or right before the Twin next buys. Gas: before the split, a small capped slice of the claimed fees (up to 5%, and only when the operator wallet is below its gas target) is kept to pay for NFT mints and fee transfers.
08Daily winners
Every day at 00:00 UTC the top 3 Twins of the day win rewards and are recorded on the Winners page.
- The score is the trading profit your Twin made that day. Fees it received don’t count, only what it earned by trading.
- To qualify, the Twin must be alive at the end of the day, have made at least one trade that day, and be in profit for the day. If fewer than 3 Twins made a profit, fewer winners are recorded.
- Ties go to the higher % gain, then to the older Twin.
- Results are final once the day closes. You can check today’s live standings any time.
09Track your Twin
Your Twin trades from its own wallet, not yours. If you use GMGN, Axiom, Photon or any other wallet tracker, add your Twin’s wallet to it and you will see every copy it makes, live.
- Open your Twin page (Check my Twin, then paste your address) and press Copy wallet.
- Paste it into your platform’s wallet tracker and give it a name, like “My Twin”.
- Track the Twin wallet, not your own. That’s where its trades come from.
- Every Twin wallet is public, so you can track anyone’s Twin, like the top ones on the leaderboard.
10Verify everything
Twins, fees and deaths all happen on-chain. Every Twin wallet is public and every number on the dashboard links to a transaction you can check on Solscan.
Emergency withdraw. As a safety measure, the project owner wallet (the wallet that launched $TWINS) can pause everything and withdraw all Twin funds in an emergency, for example if a bug is found, so they can be returned to the community. It sells every token the Twins hold for SOL and sends it to the owner wallet. Every emergency withdrawal is a public, on-chain event anyone can check. Holders can’t withdraw from their Twin.

11FAQ
+Do I need to connect my wallet?
No. Just hold $TWINS. Paste any address to see its Twin.
+Can my Twin lose money?
Yes. It copies your trades, good and bad. Memecoins are extremely risky.
+Who owns the SOL in my Twin?
The protocol does. The Twin is a public, rules-based wallet that follows you. You don’t withdraw from it. When it dies, its SOL goes to the other Twins. Only the project owner wallet can withdraw Twin funds, and only as an emergency measure (see Verify everything).
+What if $TWINS dumps and my bag drops under $10?
Your Twin is fine. It only dies if you sell or transfer while under the floor.
+I already held before launch day. Do I get a Twin?
Yes. Any wallet holding $50 or more when the engine goes live gets a Twin. Wallets of pools, bonding curves and the team are excluded.
+Which chain?
Solana. Twins trade pump.fun coins only, on the bonding curve or on PumpSwap after graduation.
Memecoin. Not financial advice. Twins copy trades automatically and can lose money. Not affiliated with pump.fun.
